Summary:
The position is accountable for assisting the Product Manager in the development and management of products, product documentation, and management of product life cycles, including the coordination of the development of labeling and packaging.
This position also coordinates pricing initiatives and documentation for all segments and all products.
Duties:
1) Coordinate the timelines and development of labeling and packaging projects 2) Maintain the product GDSN / GS1 product systems 3) Manage various SharePoint data collection and process management systems tied to products and pricing 4) Assist with the development of new products including tracking new product sales and product life cycle sales history 5) Research industry and consumer trends for various pricing projects 6) Maintain a proper archive of inactive products and supporting documentation.
7) Update price lists and supporting price materials 8) Assist in executing tactics identified in the annual Marketing Plan 9) Assist in planning and organizing product and price-focused training and events for internal customers 10) Serve as a backup for the Digital Project Manger 11) Maintain customer portals as assigned.
12) Microsoft D365 data entry and maintenance for products and pricing 13) Perform related duties as required Skills and Abilities:
1) Knowledge of product management and market research 2) The ability to lift 10/20/30 pounds regularly 3) Ability to respond verbally or in writing to many different situations 4) Ability to prioritize and organize duties 5) Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external sources 6) Ability to resolve conflicts and develop creative solutions 7) Ability to manage multiple short and long-term projects simultaneously in an effective manner 8) Ability to effectively meet deadlines in fast-paced work environments 9) Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and databases such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
High proficiency in Excel required.
10) Basic math and measurement skills including unit, dimension, and measurement conversions.
